Oldboy, which I've heard Spielberg of all people is remaking with WILL GODDAMN SMITH (Why, Hollywood? Why do you enjoy hurting me?), and...

A Tale Of Two Sisters, which I had seen before and consider it to be one of my favorite films of all time. I hear this is ALSO being remade, and I'm guessing they'll probably put Megan Fox and Hannah Montana in it, and some robots, and get Michael Bay to direct this fuckery.
A Tale Of Two Sisters is a jewel. It is stunning both visually and emotionally. It's also one of the very, very, very few movies I've ever seen that has legitimately scared the LIVING SHIT out of me. It gets inside you and haunts you for weeks and weeks. I insist you check it out, if you are a fan of the genre at all.
I enjoyed Oldboy, but I can't say it will go on my list of favorites. It didn't really grab me, as I've seen a zillion movies just like it, but it was fun to watch and was visually cool as hell. If you like Ichi the Killer (which I liked better) and Tarentino, you'll like Oldboy.
I also have Lady Vengeance sitting on top of my DVD player, but have yet to watch it. Once again, I hear they are remaking this as well (DAMN YOU!), so I'd better watch it quickly.
